The CFRN (Certified Flight Registered Nurse) exam is administered by BCEN (Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing). It is the only nationally recognized certification for flight nursing, accredited by ABSNC and accepted by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program.
How many questions are on the CFRN exam?
The CFRN exam has 180 multiple-choice questions (150 scored + 30 pretest) with a 3-hour time limit. It is available at PSI testing centers or via Live Remote Proctoring.
How much does the CFRN exam cost?
The CFRN exam costs $380 for non-members, $285 for ASTNA members, and $195 for military personnel. BCEN Test Assurance is available for $450 and includes a free retest within 1 year.
What are the eligibility requirements for the CFRN?
