CCEP Exam Content Outline

Domains, study priorities, and blueprint use

The official CCEP content outline is the best scope document for preparation. Turn each domain into a checklist and use the current official blueprint for any published weights.

Core Domains

  • Compliance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Program oversight, governance, and administration
  • Communication, education, and training
  • Monitoring, auditing, and internal reporting
  • Investigations, responses, discipline, and incentives
  • Risk assessment and third-party due diligence

Published Domain Allocation

The official linked handbook allocates 100 scored questions as shown below. Percentages are calculated from the scored total and rounded; they do not include unscored pretest items. Check the latest sponsor instructions for changes.

How to Use the Blueprint

  • Download the current official outline before you begin
  • Allocate study time according to official weights and your weak areas
  • Map every missed practice question to a domain
  • Recheck the official outline shortly before the exam for revisions

A Practical Study Matrix

For every domain, track three items: concepts you can explain, questions you can apply correctly, and topics requiring remediation. A domain is not finished merely because it has been read once.
